Today in class we had quiz. It was on and not and or and i feel pretty good about it. I think i did well because i no the material and i did kinda study the nigh before. But we will see what happens when i get it back.

Its the weekend and i am studying for my final. I learned a lot and trying to memorize all of it is hard. Remembering the seven steps to the internet research strategy is the hardest but i think i got it down. The final is going to be hard and long but im hoping to have some extra time at the end to look over my text.

Today in class we got out review sheet for class. It was 18 pages and i need to study a lot to ace this test. The information was everything that we learned in class from the past 6 months. Its alot of information but if i form a study group it will make studying a lot easyer.

This week we learned about boolean operatrs. Search engines use them to analyze keywords. Last week was a short one because of the day off and the snow day. I came in on Wens and since no one was here i edited my video. I got a lot done and it was nice to just work on the project without disractions.

Today in class we are talking about boolean opeators and what is the default word for each search engine. In google i found that it is and and in yahoo it is or. The day was short so we didnt have alot of time to complete the worksheet but i maneged to finish.

Today in class we learned about boolean operators. They were easy enough to understand with the and and or. We then did a worksheet without using the computers. It was about creating your own search and then using the operators to either help your search by limiting the amount of words or by lessing them.

Today i got back from my trip to sicily. It is nice to be back to school and see all of my friends and teachers. MS Sarles was out today so we had a sub. We worked on google doc in which we wrote about our english high school career. I wrote about all the fun stuff i did in the past four years.

Today in class we still worked on cached pages. We did a worksheet on it to help get a better understanding of what it is. I enjoyed learning about the different ways google helps you to make an effective search.

Today in class we talked about cached pages and what they mean. I never knew how useful they were and what i could really do with it. Cached page simply means it takes a screen shot of the page so if the site wont work you can just cache it to look at it.

I have just finished my work sheet and have come to the conclusion that google is still the best search engine with its smart and easy to use interface. You can easily search on the regular search bar or go to the advance search which is just as easy to use. The other search engines just can not compete.

Well today in class we are doing a worksheet comparing meta search engines and search engines. We are using the phrase feature to determine which one is the most effective. I didnt get to finish so i am going to have to take it home and finish it there.

Today we had another sub and i am again going to work on my blogs. Im catching up on some other work i missed for other classes since i am done with my blog here. I enjoy making word clouds because i can use my creatvitiy to make beautiful word cloud.
